Bring your passport or residence card, medication and supplement list, and recent test results. Tell us about overseas prescriptions, vaccination records or school and employer forms in advance.
The proposed care and cost are explained before tests or treatment. Ask for English visit summaries, test reports and itemized receipts. Confirm reimbursement and document requirements with your insurer.
For chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, sudden weakness or altered consciousness, call 119 or go to the nearest emergency department rather than waiting for an outpatient appointment.
