Linen, sunlight, a glass of water and a relaxed hand

Your health.
A fuller picture.

Preventive care, weight management and nutritional support.
A medical plan that takes your whole life into account.

Explore care

Start with
your everyday life.

How you feel physically and emotionally, how you sleep, what you eat and the demands of work and family all belong in your consultation. Dr. Park considers these alongside your history and health risks, then helps you set priorities for prevention, treatment and ongoing wellbeing.

Wellness,
in practice.

A personal plan can connect several areas of care. We start with your priorities and bring together the medical support, everyday habits and follow-up that fit your life.

Make sense of your
health markers.

Start with how you feel, your health history and the questions you want answered. At VEI, your physician selects relevant tests and explains what the results mean for your care.

Discuss testing with VEI

These are examples of assessments we may discuss, not a fixed testing package. Symptoms can have several causes, and a result is considered alongside your history and examination.

Thyroid & hormone health

Changes in energy, weight or temperature tolerance can be a reason to discuss thyroid function. Your symptoms, medicines and previous results guide which tests are useful.

What brings you in

  • Unexplained weight changes
  • Feeling unusually hot or cold
  • Changes in energy
  • Questions about previous thyroid results

Tests we may consider

TSH
A starting point for assessing thyroid function.
Free T4 / free T3
Selected thyroid hormone measurements.
Thyroid antibodies
Additional testing when clinically indicated.

After your results

Your physician puts the findings in context and discusses follow-up, treatment or specialist review when appropriate. Other hormone tests are considered individually.

Nutrients & energy

Diet, medicines and absorption can all matter when reviewing nutritional status. Testing helps focus the conversation on a possible deficiency and the care it may need.

What brings you in

  • Persistent tiredness
  • Hair or nail changes
  • A restricted diet
  • Questions about supplements

Tests we may consider

Blood count & iron studies
Including ferritin when relevant.
Vitamin B12 & folate
Selected nutrient measurements.
Vitamin D
Assessment of vitamin D status.

After your results

Discuss food choices, whether supplementation is needed and when to review your levels again. Bring a list of the supplements you already take.

Blood sugar & metabolism

Weight is one part of metabolic health. We consider blood sugar results alongside blood pressure, body composition, family history and your daily routine.

What brings you in

  • Weight-management goals
  • A previous high glucose result
  • Family history of diabetes
  • Monitoring an existing condition

Tests we may consider

Glucose & HbA1c
Current and longer-term blood sugar assessment.
Lipid profile
Cholesterol and triglyceride measurements.
Blood pressure & body composition
Measurements that add context to your laboratory results.

After your results

Build a practical plan for eating, movement and sleep, with medication review or further assessment when needed. Follow-up is tailored to your results.

Cholesterol & heart health

A cholesterol result makes more sense alongside your blood pressure, family history and other risk factors. This review can be useful even when you feel well.

What brings you in

  • A previous high cholesterol result
  • Family history of heart disease
  • Blood-pressure monitoring
  • A preventive health review

Tests we may consider

Total cholesterol, LDL & HDL
The main parts of a standard cholesterol profile.
Triglycerides
Another type of fat measured in the blood.
ApoB / Lp(a)
Additional markers considered selectively.

After your results

Review your overall risk and discuss lifestyle changes, medication or referral as appropriate. Your physician will advise when to repeat testing.

Liver & kidney function

Previous results, medical conditions and medication use help determine which liver or kidney checks are relevant to you.

What brings you in

  • An abnormal checkup result
  • Monitoring a known condition
  • Medication review
  • Planning a targeted health check

Tests we may consider

Liver function tests
Selected blood markers for liver assessment.
Kidney function tests
Selected blood markers for kidney assessment.
Electrolytes / urine tests
Additional information when clinically relevant.

After your results

Review whether a result needs repeat testing, a change in care or further investigation. Bring earlier reports so changes can be compared.

Blood counts & inflammation

When symptoms or a previous result need investigating, selected blood tests can support the assessment. An inflammation marker alone does not identify the cause.

What brings you in

  • Ongoing unexplained symptoms
  • Follow-up after illness
  • An unusual blood-test result
  • A test requested by your doctor

Tests we may consider

Complete blood count
Information about the cells in your blood.
CRP / ESR
Inflammation markers selected when relevant.
Further targeted tests
Chosen from your history and initial findings.

After your results

Discuss what the findings can and cannot tell you, and whether further assessment is needed. Testing follows a clinical question rather than a universal checklist.

Before your visit

Bring previous results and a list of medicines and supplements. Ask us about fasting, test availability and result timing when you arrange your visit. Preparation depends on the tests selected.

Results you can understand

Discuss your findings, what needs attention and the next step, in English. Follow-up testing is planned around your health needs and, if you are visiting Seoul, your travel dates.

Our philosophy

A personal plan.
An ongoing conversation.

  1. Understand your whole picture

We start with your health history, sleep, nutrition, stress and the routines and relationships that shape your days.

  2. Choose what matters now

Together, we set priorities for prevention and care, with relevant assessments and treatment options explained.

  3. Build care into your life

We review your progress and adjust the plan to your health, goals and everyday commitments.

Before your consultation

Can I come in even if I do not feel unwell?

Yes. A wellness consultation can focus on prevention, health risks, nutrition, weight or healthy aging. Bring your priorities and any recent results so we can discuss what is useful for you.

What does whole-person care include?

We consider physical health alongside sleep, stress, emotional wellbeing and the routines and relationships that shape daily life. These inform your medical care; tests and treatments are selected for your individual needs.

Will I need tests at my first visit?

Tests are not arranged as a standard package for everyone. After your consultation, we explain whether any tests are appropriate and what they involve.

Can I discuss weight, nutrition and skin together?

Yes. Tell us your priorities when arranging your visit. Your doctor can discuss how these concerns relate and plan the appropriate consultations and follow-up.

Let’s make
time for you.
