Quick Intro
VEI Clinic Apgujeong provides primary care with internal-medicine oversight—from same-day sick visits to chronic condition management and preventive screening. We primarily see adults and older teens; for younger children, we coordinate smoothly with nearby pediatric partners.
What We Do
Acute, same-day care

- Digestive issues: food poisoning, reflux flares, traveler’s diarrhea, constipation
- Urinary symptoms (UTI evaluation), mild dehydration
- Rashes/hives, minor injuries
Ongoing primary care
- Hypertension, high cholesterol (ApoB/Lp[a] when indicated)
- Type 2 diabetes / prediabetes, metabolic risk & fatty-liver evaluation
- Thyroid disorders, anemia/iron issues, vitamin D/B12 deficiency
- Asthma/allergic rhinitis, GERD, IBS-type symptoms
- Women’s & men’s health: contraception counseling, STI testing, erectile concerns, menopause/perimenopause guidance (Pap/gynecologic exams via partner clinics)
Prevention & paperwork
- Annual physicals, executive health, vaccination review & updates
- Work/school/sports forms, fit-to-fly notes
- Travel medicine & immunity titers
In-Clinic Services
- Same-day labs: CBC, CMP, lipids, HbA1c, thyroid (TSH ± FT4), iron/ferritin, vitamin D/B12, CRP; STI & travel panels; TB (IGRA)
- Point-of-care: flu/COVID/strep swabs, urinalysis, glucose/ketones
- Injections & IVs (case-by-case): B12, D3, anti-nausea therapy, hydration, vitamin C/NAD+ when appropriate
- Minor procedures: ear irrigation, simple wound care & dressing changes, suture/staple removal
- Referrals: X-ray/ultrasound/DEXA/CAC and specialty care via partner centers
- Documentation: English visit summaries and itemized receipts
Visit Flow
- Check-in (5–10 min) — goals, symptoms, forms
- Doctor consult & focused exam (15–30 min)
- Testing (as needed) — same-day blood/urine/swab; ECG if indicated
- Plan & prescriptions — plain-English steps; follow-up timeline
- Results — secure PDF + telemedicine or in-clinic review
Preparation
- Bring: photo ID (passport if visiting), medication & supplement list (exact doses), prior labs/imaging, vaccine record
- Fasting 8–12h if lipids/metabolic labs are planned (water OK)
- Biotin note: high-dose biotin can interfere with certain lab assays—tell us so we can time testing appropriately
- Do not stop prescription meds unless your doctor instructs you to
When to Use the ER (Not an Outpatient Clinic)
Seek emergency care for chest pain, severe shortness of breath, stroke signs, fainting, uncontrolled bleeding, severe dehydration with confusion, or rapidly worsening allergic reactions.

Can I get a same-day appointment?
Often yes—especially for acute concerns. Message us your symptoms and availability.
Do you prescribe medications?
Yes, when indicated after evaluation. We also deprescribe when safer options exist.
How fast are results?
Most routine labs return in 1–2 business days; some titers/special tests take longer—we’ll tell you upfront.
Do you see children?
We see adults and older teens. For younger kids, we coordinate with nearby pediatric clinics and help with records.
Can you complete work/school forms?
Yes—bring the exact form; we’ll make sure it meets the requirements and arrange any needed tests or referrals.
