Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using member services provided on the website (veiclinic.com, the "Website") operated by VEI CLINIC (the "Clinic"), and the rights and obligations of the Clinic and its members.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. A "member" is a person who has signed up after agreeing to these terms and to the collection and use of personal information.
  2. "Services" means the online booking requests, online consultations, notices and events, and My page features provided on the Website.
  3. "Social login" means verifying your identity and signing up or logging in through a Naver, Kakao, or Google account.

Article 3 (Publication and Amendment of the Terms)

  1. The Clinic makes these terms available to everyone through a link at the bottom of the Website's home page.
  2. The Clinic may amend these terms within the limits of applicable law. Amendments will be announced on the Website at least 7 days before their effective date, or 30 days before for changes unfavorable to members.
  3. Members who do not agree to the amended terms may close their accounts. Members who do not express their refusal by the effective date are deemed to have agreed.

Article 4 (Membership Registration)

  1. You may sign up by email or social login and must agree to these terms and to the collection and use of personal information.
  2. Children under 14 may not sign up.
  3. The Clinic may refuse registration or subsequently restrict access if you use another person's information or provide false information.

Article 5 (Managing Member Information)

  1. Members may change their name, mobile number, password, and marketing message preferences at any time in My page.
  2. Members are responsible for managing their passwords and social accounts. If you discover unauthorized use, change your password immediately and notify the Clinic.

Article 6 (Services)

  1. Online booking requests: Members and guests may request a preferred date and time. The Clinic confirms the booking after contacting you by phone or another method. Submitting a request does not confirm a booking, and the time may be adjusted according to clinical circumstances.
  2. Online consultations: The Clinic responds to questions you submit. Online consultations provide general guidance and do not replace a medical examination. An accurate assessment requires an in-person visit. In an emergency, call 119 or go to the nearest emergency department.
  3. The Clinic may temporarily suspend all or part of the services for unavoidable reasons, such as clinic scheduling or equipment maintenance. Such suspensions will be announced on the Website.

Article 7 (Member Obligations)

Members must not engage in the following conduct:

  1. Using another person's personal information or account
  2. Repeatedly making false bookings or using the consultation feature for advertising or spam
  3. Damaging the reputation of the Clinic or others, or interfering with their work
  4. Automated access or hacking attempts that interfere with the normal operation of the Website

Article 8 (Restrictions and Account Closure)

  1. Members may close their accounts at any time in My page. The Clinic will promptly destroy member information in accordance with the privacy policy.
  2. If a member violates Article 7, the Clinic may suspend access or terminate membership after prior notice. In urgent cases, the Clinic may act first and notify the member afterward.

Article 9 (Posts)

  1. Online consultation posts are visible only to the author and the Clinic's staff.
  2. Authors hold the rights to, and bear responsibility for, their posts. Posts that violate the law, infringe others' rights, or contain advertising may be deleted without notice.
  3. The Clinic owns the copyright to its text, photographs, and videos published on the Website. They may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.

Article 10 (Notices to Members)

The Clinic may send booking and consultation results and service-related notices to a member's registered email or mobile number. Marketing messages are sent only to members who have consented to receive them.

Article 11 (Limitation of Liability)

  1. The Clinic is not liable for failure to provide services due to natural disasters, telecommunications failures, or other causes outside its responsibility.
  2. The Clinic is not liable for losses arising from a member's failure to manage their account carefully, except where the Clinic has acted intentionally or negligently.

Article 12 (Dispute Resolution)

Disputes concerning use of the services are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Legal proceedings must be brought before the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
